In a vision I saw a very large cruise ship, much like the titanic. This cruise ship was headed straight for an enormous iceberg. This iceberg was bigger than any naturally occurring iceberg. It must have been hundreds of feet tall, thousands of feet wide, and thousands of feet deep. The iceberg was moving towards the cruise ship at a constant speed, and the cruise ship was moving towards the iceberg even faster.

What I sensed was that the cruise ship intended to force the iceberg to do what it wanted. But the iceberg did not give in to the will of the cruise ship; it didn't change course or speed. And the closer the cruise ship came to the iceberg, the more unnerved the cruise ship became, until finally, it turned away in order to avoid colliding with the iceberg and being demolished. As I watched this vision unfold, I knew it represented a dynamic between The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and the secular world -- the unbelievers and those of opposing religious beliefs. The iceberg represents the Church, and the cruise ship represents those who oppose the Church.

In 2007, there was an increase in the number of attempts to silence, stifle, degrade and discredit Christians, as well as the Church as a whole. These attempts have increased exponentially in frequency and ferocity, and threaten to make Christians second-class citizens.

In 2008, the attempts to silence Christians and the Church will continue to increase. Those in opposition will attempt to put Christians ‘in their place’ -- that being the place of their own choosing -- by trying to intimidate and slander the Church into submission. They will try anything they can to stop Christians and the Church, corporately and individually, from advancing and moving into their God given destinies. They will attempt to strip this country (the United States) and the rest of the world of every hint of Christianity and of Christ.

However, all of their attempts will be useless. The Kingdom of God is forcefully advancing, and in 2008, will continue to advance into all areas of the world regardless of any attempts to stop it. Those who come against the Church with false bravado saying all manner of things, will run away when they see their attempts are futile. Those who attempt to stop the Church from advancing with force will be crushed.

In 2008, the Church will advance into every arena at every level -- further than it has ever gone before. Television, music, the media, business; no area will be left untouched, and from that, great advances will come forth. And I see great advances coming forth in the medical industry in particularly.
