Near the end of 2007, the Lord spoke to me saying, I'm preparing My bride to walk down the isle, side by side, arm in arm. In preparation, she will soak in beauty and My fragrance for Me. She will be radiant and filled with joy, with great expectancy in waiting to see Me. There will be moments of anxiety as My bride prepares. There will be moments of restlessness! There will be moments of quietness! There will be moments of greatness!......it will be glorious when she sees Me. I'M COMING SOON!
In January 2008, the Lord spoke to me or impressed upon me clearly to fast and pray. He then gave me the scriptures Matthew 17:14-21 (with emphasis on verse 21)......
14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Jesus said to the disciples, why could you not cast him out? They had no power because of unbelief. Prayer and fasting equates to an explosive combination that ignites our faith, and faith destroys unbelief......and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Hallelujah!
Later in the month while praying and meditating, the Lord spoke to me saying, This is going to be a tumultuous year. I looked this word up in the dictionary, and the definition is quite interesting.....
- an uproar made by a crowd of people, esp. when rioting any noisy and violent, usually confused, disturbance
- a confused and excited state of mind or of the emotions
- a jumble objects or words, etc.
- full of tumult or riotousness; marked by disturbance and uproar
- raising a great clatter and commotion; disorderly or noisy
- highly agitated, as the mind or emotions; distraught; turbulent
- characterized by unrest or disorder or insubordination; "effects of the struggle will be violent and disruptive"; "riotous times"

The Lord said, This time of turmoil does not have to effect your lives. You are victorious over every battle, if you believe it. I say, keep your eyes on Me and you will stay in perfect peace. Don't look at the circumstances, which can and will be tumultuous. Don't say, I'm doing okay under the circumstances. DON'T get under the circumstances, STAY ON TOP as Peter walking on water. Keep your eyes on Me and walk "on".....not under the (storm) circumstances, and it will be a glorious 2008.
I say......Amen! Even so, come Lord Jesus!
Blessings to all in this glorious and tumultuous year. WE WIN!
