I was called by God at the age of seven. I was standing in line at school when suddenly a "knowing" came upon me. It was God speaking, though at the time I did not know it was Him. I saw myself for who I really was; a spoiled child who cared nothing for the feelings or conditions of others, only for my own. I then knew that a choice had been put before me; I could choose to "do good" or continue down the path I was on.

After a few moments of astonishment, I thought "how could I possibly know this, I'm only a kid?" Being so dumbfounded by what just happened, I didn't make a choice at that moment.

A week or two went by and again God presented me with this choice. In my mind there was only one answer; choose to "do good." And that is what I chose. Immediately I was changed. I suddenly cared about other people and had great empathy for the problems and heartaches in their lives.

As time went on, I found I had the ability to just know things about people and situations. I now know that this was the Holy Spirit revealing these things to me, but at the time, I didn't know how I knew.

While I professed to be a Christian, I didn't really know what it truly meant. It wasn't until after several adverse circumstances that I fully dedicated myself to Christ in 1988. I then realized it was God who had been speaking to me, teaching me and protecting me over the years.

I went on to learn more about God and learned how to hear His voice. He guided me step by step through trials and times of refinement, slowly removing portions of myself and replacing them with His nature. I'm not perfected by any means, but I'm glad God isn't finished with me yet.

While I have been opposed and oppressed in many ways over the years, God has always been faithful to me. He has always protected me and provided for me. He has become the love of my life and I can honestly say, nothing compares to knowing the Lord Jesus Christ intimately.

He is better than your deepest hearts desire. He is better than the best of all things. He is better than riches, power, or fame. He is the Lamb of God who washes clean the sins of all who believe in Him, making them white as snow and giving them peace and joy everlasting. Nothing compares to knowing the Lord Jesus Christ intimately.

I am an Ordained Minister with Prophetic Fire Ministries International, ministering to people via multiple venues and opportunities. I look for any new direction the Lord would have me go and anxiously anticipate what is next in this amazing walk with The Creator Himself.
