Do you have a tugging on your heart; a feeling of realizing your own need of God in your life, and perhaps even feeling shame for the way you are living and things you have done? If so, the Holy Spirit, the 3rd person of the Trinity, is drawing you, wooing you to Jesus.

The gospel of John 1:1 says....In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The WORD is Jesus. Jesus was God incarnate in the flesh. He was born of a woman, lived and walked this earth as a man, was crucified (He gave up His life for the redemption of all mankind), died on the cross shedding His blood for the remission of our sins, defeated satan and taking the keys of hell and death.....triumphing over him, then He (Jesus) arose from the dead victorious, and ascended into heaven. He is ALIVE! He loves you with an everlasting love.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Revelation 1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Romans 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

It is by grace that you are saved, a free gift, nothing that you can do of yourself, but by simply asking God to forgive you and accepting Jesus Christ into your heart as Savior, and then confessing it to someone, as the scripture says above.

It is that simple, and if you have done this, you are saved, you are now a child of God, a new creature in Christ. We encourage you to begin reading the gospel of John in the Bible.
